Pala town is experiencing traffic congestion for a long time. The authorities were planning to findout a solution for this problem and at last determined to construct a bypass road to the town.On 23rd November it was commisioned by Honourable Chief minister Oommen Chandy.Hope that the road is likely to significantly reduce traffic congestion in Pala town. This is a one kilometer road built at a cost of Rs.12 crore. It took nearly two years for completion. The bypass extends fromKizhathadiyoor along the Thodupuzha road to the Civil Station along the Ramapuram road. It's width is 22 meters. This four-lane bypass is supposed to be the widest bridge in the district. This well planned bypass road is really a pride for Pala.
